“IN EVERYTHING”

“In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him…”
-1 Thessalonians 5:18; Romans 8:28

Please take note the Bible said, “In everything” not “For everything.” Meaning disappointment or failure is not God’s will for you. You don’t say, “Father, I thank you for bringing this evil upon me.” No! God is not the author of confusion. In Romans, Apostle Paul meant that for everyone who is in Christ, God works through events in their lives to establish His will. That is why he said, “give thanks” because It was finished from the beginning.

Why was Joseph sold into slavery? Because his dream of greatness wasn’t in his father’s house but Egypt. Why was he put in prison? Because the man that was to introduce him to the king was in prison. Slavery is terrible, but God used both to transport Joseph to his God-given dream.

God has written the scenario leading to your greatness. You are going to end well. Everything is working together for your good. Say, “Amen!”

What is my attitude if something doesn’t go my way?

Pray: I decree and declare, I will end well. Everything is working together for my good in Jesus’ name. Amen!
