My wife and I don’t take spiritual melodies and songs for granted. God has spoken severally and encouraged us through them. But is it possible to make music from your heart? Do you know that you can organize a musical concert, with all kinds of instruments, and singing, with gratitude from your heart to the Lord? This can happen literally anywhere, and the next person may not even know but you are completely plug-in to the Spirit.
God searches for those that will worship Him in spirit and truth. And spiritual songs have a way of deepening your intimacy with the father. When the Holy Spirit puts melody in your heart, let it move you to dance and bust out of your mouth into songs of praise and worship. Give expression to the melody in your heart and let others be blessed and ignited in their Spirit.
In my heart, how often do I reflect on God’s goodness?
Pray: Today, with a grateful heart, I will make melody to the Lord.
