There is an enemy, an old evil genius. He is thief, deceiver, liar, accuser, tempter, and a destroyer. An enemy of God and His Christ. He hates The Truth and anyone that bears it. He works with fallen angels and demons to perpetuate evil in our world. The tempter will do everything to distract and prevent you from succeeding. But the Bible says, resist him!
Stand in the truth of God’s word and he will flee from you (James 4:8), do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27), but put on the full armor of God, and make your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). Today, we are not waiting, but launching an all-out attack against him to take all that God has given us.
What are the ways the devil attacks and how do I overcome his tricks?
Pray: Father, lead me not into temptation but deliver me from the evil one. The evil one is out there plotting against me but arise o Lord and let them be scattered. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
